We can’t imagine a better spot on Cozumel to get married than Buccanos At Night. The ambiance is relaxed and elegant, it’s oceanfront and the food and service are superb! John and Amy used the local talents to create lovely flowers (Evelyn) and a wedding cake (Cozumel Cakes by Josefina Avalis), but much of the details were handled by Amy’s talented mother, Teresa, and her friend Colleen. They topped off the local flavor by having one of the most talented musicians on the island, Abraham, and his current partner, Robert, play before and after the ceremony. We loved shooting at Buccanos (and eating there, too). If you can convince the gracious and innovative owner/chef, Ines Falkenberg to let you hold your wedding there, you won’t be disappointed. A few days later, we hit the beaches on the east side for photos and portraits that we didn’t have time for on the wedding day. A perfect end to a perfect day. Enjoy!
